As part of the 21st National Science and Technology Week, MBA José Ramón López Arellano gave his master lecture Technological Innovation Park-UAS on the Audiovisual Room of the Academic Tower Culiacán.

López Arellano commented that the Technological Innovation Park (PIT, Parque de Innovación Tecnológica) plays a very important role in the Autonomous University of Sinaloa (UAS, Universidad Autónoma de Sinaloa), it is located by the side of UAS’ Faculty of Informatics, its aim is to promote the development in Sinaloa by reinforcing the state’s technological capacities, providing knowledge’s essentials from a strategic transversal platform: information and communication technologies; this helps to foster regional economy’s productivity and competitiveness, through knowledge generation as well as by generating, applying and integrating technologies knowledge in order to solve problems of our environment. PIT-UAS is aligned with the National Development Plan, which emphasizes in scientific, technological and innovation development, pillars for socioeconomic progress.
